In December 2024, Rob and Mary Cottrell became the proud owners of Clifton Hall and are excited about the property’s next chapter. As only the seventh family to own the estate since 1656, they are honored to continue its remarkable legacy. They have begun thoughtful renovations, ensuring both the interior and exterior receive the care and attention they deserve after 20 years.
While continuing the cherished events previously hosted at Clifton Hall, they also plan to introduce new experiences, including classical music evenings, jazz nights, children’s events, community picnics, afternoon teas, and much more.

Client Review
We started planning our wedding in January of 2024. We found out that Rob and Mary bought Clifton hall later that year. We were assured from the start by Massimo that everything will go smoothly, and we met with the new owners. Rob and Mary were so kind and helpful, and Massimo was right. We knew our wedding would go off without a hitch. Mary was always available when we had questions or needed to do a site visit with one of our various vendors. Our wedding day was all that we could’ve hoped for and more. The beauty of Clifton Hall will surely be preserved under their care. We are so grateful that Rob and Mary were such great hosts and made our day that much more special.
